BTCC OVERVIEW
The British Touring Car Championship is one of the best-loved and most illustrious motor racing championship in the World. Since its inception in 1958 - only Formula 1 and America's Nascar's Stock Car Series have longer histories - the BTCC has attracted and captivated millions of fans from right around the World.
HISTORICAL RESULTS
In our previous race season ‘Carbon Zero Racing’ were able to demonstrate that you can be competitive without compromising reliability whilst racing on alternative fuels (E85 Bioethanol) especially against regular petrol powered cars. The team in its infancy went on to score two x 2nd places and were equal 5th out of 14 teams by the end of season. The Bioethanol powered cars were consistently competing at the front of the Grid regularly mixing it up with the Works Manufacturer backed teams in this ultra competitive high profile championship.
CARBON ZERO RACING
Carbon Zero Racing is one of the very few environmentally friendly motor racing teams in the world. Our team continue to develop and showcase new fuels and technologies through our ‘Carbon Zero’ race programme. We have strong links with key players in various industry sectors that are involved in the development of alternative fuels, but also duel fuel technologies that can be retro-fitted to cars, LCV & HGV. The Scottish based team is owned and run by Principal Colin Neill, the teams driver line up will include a championship winning #1, accompanied by a rising star.
